When used as an inner liner in wall, roof, or wood flooring applications, Gorilla Guard® acts as a separation barrier, protecting against wind and dust infiltration, while helping minimize squeaks in floor applications.
- Reduces air and moisture flow through roof system components creating a “slip sheet” so different materials can slip by each other as they expand and contract
- When placed between two components of a roof assembly, helps ensure that no adhesion occurs between them to prevent possible damage from chemical incompatibility, wearing or abrasion of the membrane.
- Compatible with coal tar and asphalt-based roofing systems
- Covers gaps in jointed construction/tightens up the structure
